Student accommodation

Once you've got your offer of a place through Clearing, you may need to find somewhere to live.

The Student Accommodation team offers free help and advice to everyone coming to study at the University of Westminster, whether you are looking for private rented accommodation or a place in a hall of residence and you can contact them on:

Tel: +44 (0)20 7911 5817
Fax: +44 (0)20 7911 5037
Email: studentaccommodation@westminster.ac.uk

Halls of residence
Once you have been accepted onto a full-time course you can apply online for a place in one of our halls of residence. Rooms in halls are limited and the initial allocation will already have been made. However, it may still be worth applying as you will be placed on our waiting list for cancellations or non-arrivals. If we can't offer you a place in halls, we can still give you more detailed information on private rented accommodation.

Private rented accommodation and housing meetings
Most of our students live in private rented accommodation, and we can help you find this. One of the best ways is to come to one of our housing meetings in London, and then stay in the city for two or three days to look for accommodation. You can book temporary accommodation in one of our halls before the start of the academic year by telephoning 020 911 5181 or visiting westminster.ac.uk/business/summer-accommodation.

Housing workshops include detailed advice about looking for private accommodation, lists of available accommodation and the opportunity to meet up with other students to look for flats together. You do not need to book to attend, but we recommend you arrive for the start of the meeting so as not to miss valuable information.

Advice on seeking private accommodation, access to our housing list and arrangements for this year's housing workshops in late August/early September can be found on our website.
